In this class we will focus on some simple vegetarian meals and accompaniments. Whether you're vegetarian yourself, want to eat more healthily, or want to know what to cook when vegetarian friends come to dinner, this class is for you!
Roasted Vegetables - how to make them and what to do with them
We'll make some roasted vegetables and then use them to make:
Roasted Veg Cous Cous
Roasted Veg Tart in the French Style (which will teach you to make a whole other load of tarts!)
Channa Masala - this is a delicious Indian chick-pea recipe with tomatoes and a whole lot of flavour! Very nutritious too as very high in protein.
Batlijani - one of the most popular Georgian dishes - aubergines stuffed with Walnut puree and pomegranate seeds. An elegant and unusual starter (see picture above).
Broccoli Pasta - most people cook Italian vegetarian recipes with tomatoes but here's an unusual one - pasta with a broccoli sauce. It's quite special and sure to become a favourite at dinner time, because it's so easy to make!
as an added bonus, all these dishes apart from the tart are vegan!
