Cooking Supper class
1st April 2012:
I’ve had many requests to do a cooking lesson that would teach people things to make that they would make again, simple supper dishes that are delicious but not too complicated to make. What better way is there to spend a Sunday afternoon and evening than sociably learning to make lovely food and eating it with new friends.
Some of these dishes are ones I used to make regularly for supper at home, but I think that they all could stand the test of a dinner party too.
Vietnamese Summer Rolls with pork or prawns
and dip
served at 2 Little Mermaids Supperclub
Chicken Pilaff – the great benefit of this is that it cooks in just 1 pot! not much washing up, and delicious
You will also learn how to chop up a whole chicken
Smoked Fish and Leek pie
served at the Puddings and Piano Supperclub
Lebanese Beans
served at Syrian Supperclub
Apple Strudel Grandma Klar - this is a great recipe that is a team effort and makes a terrible mess! but great fun. We will make our own filo pastry....but at home you might choose to buy it of course!
served at Christmas Supperclub
We can make this together and then have dinner together. Suggested start time 4pm... finish after dinner!
Spaces very limited. Cost will be £60, of which £50 will go direct to MSF. Please e-mail us with bookings on parkholmesupperclub@hotmail.co.uk
