Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent international humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency medical aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters or exclusion from health care in more than 60 countries around the world.

We also support  where we teach cooking to homeless people, and our local timebank

Timber Wharf Time Bank

We are a Supper Club supporting the Nobel Peace Prize-winning charity Médecins Sans Frontières in Dalston, Hackney, London.  We are passionate about home cooking - the kind that our grandmothers spent all day preparing... we do it for you!

"...What keeps me going back is the diversity and originality of the cooking, the enthusiastic, personable hosting and the ever interesting company. My only complaint is the overeating which I can only blame myself for."

Prawn Balls dim sum

"...impressive range of curries. I have been a restaurant critic for years, and the dinner we were served was good enough to rival all but the best restaurants of that genre... all in all, it was unexpectedly one of my most enjoyable dining experiences in the last year."  Margaret Clancy, South West Editor, Square Meal Guide

Kuih Dadar,
Malaysian pancakes stuffed with grated coconut and palm sugar

"...Each dish was the best I've ever tasted - the Cantonese steamed seabass was the freshest I've ever had, Fillipino mackerel 'ceviche' in coconut was sublime, as were the Vietnamese prawn spring rolls with fresh herbs and grilled squid with mango and avocado salsa. Spaghetti vongole was amongst the best I've tasted, Indian baked fish with fresh green herbs mouthwatering, grilled mackerel with green bean and caper salad a touch of magic"

People come because the food is good (see Qype, food bloggers and press articles), often tried and tested recipes handed down through generations, made with real care, and authentic. And they have a wonderful time meeting interesting, lovely people.
